Died peacefully in the early morning hours of April 18, 2021. Gene was born in Wilmington, DE on October 3, 1938 to the late Albert I Gallagher and Mary Bonner Gallagher. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Judy of Falls Church, VA, his daughter, Karen of San Diego, CA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his five siblings, Mary, Clare, Albert, Gerald, and Margaret Rose. He was also predeceased by his young daughter, Susan. He was interred in the Columbarium at Peace Lutheran Church, Alexandria, VA on April 22, 2021. The family plans to have a celebration of life service later in the year when COVID restrictions allow.
