Vin Bartone passed away on Thursday, January 18th, two days before his 32nd anniversary with his wife Adair Gellman.

Vin enjoyed three major jobs through his life: as an options trader, as a programmer, and finally, as a financial advisor. He impacted many people through these jobs, some quite profoundly.

As a young man he played Rugby with one of the best teams in New York and then helped teach rugby at Iona college. He learned hockey as an adult and enjoyed playing until his late 60s, cheering as the Washington Capitals won the Stanley Cup in 2018.

Vin loved animals. He rescued and brought into his family 25 cats.

He started playing bridge at the Kissena bridge club in New Jersey in the '70s and his partnership with Adair began as a partnership at the bridge table, where they had much success.

Music was another passion, rock and blues guitar in particular, with Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and Joe Bonamassa being among, but not the least of, his favorites.

Vin was a kind and caring person. He will be remembered and treasured by his wife Adair Gellman and his brothers Joseph and Richard Bartone. There will be no service. His wife will continue to honor his wishes and continue his many donations to Veterans and Animal charities.
